These college student who cannot find jobs are at their worst. Why college graduates have difficulty finding jobs? Why is it a big problem that puzzled people for years?
The reason for it is various. The main reason has the following points: Firstly, the number of the college student is increasing faster and faster these years. In addition, many colleges and universities fail to adapt their courses to the development of economy.
Secondly, It's easy for some students to find work. But the fact is that some students don't want to do the job, they except to find a work with a higher salary. In addition, some graduates did not work hard in college, so they are not competent for jobs they want.
Last but not least, some college students cannot come to terms with themselves and with the world around them. They pursue too high goals and are too particular about such factors as working conditions, salary, and so on. Therefore, they are reluctant to accept the job when they are offered to them.
How can we deal with the problem? In my opinion, students who are in colleges must work harder than before to keep their competitiveness. Only in this way can we find a suitable job. f is clearly a product of one's desires and simply has nothing to do with the human ability to know. Basing one's positions on what one wants — rather than unbiased evidence gathering — is dishonest even when good intentions can be cited — after all even Hitler could cite good intentions and intended glory for a select group of people. Clearly then, an unbiased approach to the truth is a requirement of honesty.
Because intentions are closely related to fairness and certainly affect the degree of honesty/dishonesty, there is a wide spread confusion about honesty--and a general belief that being dishonest means that one ALWAYS correctly understands if their behavior is either honest or dishonest. Self-perception of our morality is non-static and volatile. It's often at the moment we refuse to consider other perspectives that there is a clear indication we are not pursuing the truth, rather than simply and exclusively at the moment we can muster up evidence that we are right. Socrates had much to say about truth, honesty and morality, and explained that if people really understood that their behavior was wrong — then they simply wouldn't do it — by definition. Unfortunately, honesty in the western tradition has been marginalized to specific instances — perhaps because a thorough understanding of honesty collides with ideologies of all types. Ideologies and idealism often exaggerate and suppress evidence in order to support their perspectives — at the eXPense of the truth. This process erodes the practice and understanding of honesty. To an ideologist the truth quite often becomes insignificant, what matters most are their ideals and what ever supports their desires to enjoy and spread those ideals.
Human beings are inherently biased about what they believe to be good due to individual tastes & backgrounds, but once one understands that a decidedly biased approach to what is true — is inherently dishonest, one can also understand how idealism and ideology have poorly served the quest for an honest, moral society. Both honesty and morality require that we base our opinions about what is good — upon unbiased ideas of what is TRUE — rather than vice versa (determining what is true based on what we feel is good) — the way all ideologies would have us believe.

Soy food good for women
Women who ate soy regularly as children have a lower risk of breast cancer, American researchers report. And men who eat fish several times a week have a lower risk of colon cancer, a second team of researchers have told the American Association for Cancer Research.
The studies add to a growing body of evidence about the role of diet in cancer. Cancer experts now believe that up to two-thirds of all cancers come from lifestyle factors such as smoking, diet and lack of exercise.
The US National Cancer Institute and researchers at the University of Hawaii found that women who ate the most soy-based foods, such as tofu and miso, when aged 5 to 11, reduced their risk of developing breast cancer by 58 per cent. It was not clear how soy might prevent cancer, though compounds in soy called isoflavones have estrogen-like effects.
A second study showed that men who ate fish at least five times a week had a 40 per cent lower risk of developing colorectal cancer compared with men who ate fish less than once a week.
Many kinds of fish are rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which interfere with the cyclooxygenase-2 or COX-2 enzyme. COX-2 affects inflammation, which may play a role in tumour growth.

it is a great honor to be chosen to speak here. i value this chance of sharing teaching experience with distinguished teachers very much. to be honest i felt rather nostalgic when somebody told me i would make a speech before all of you fine people. i can still remember when i made my first speech in college. my heart would have jumped out of my chest if i hadn’t tried my best to control my breath. the reason lies in the fact that i really didn’t know what to say at that time!
well today, being a teacher of english for some years in shenzhen, i have a strong sense of responsibility, which always fills me with strength and confidence.
i am from xinzhou middle school located in the west part of shenzhen. there are two extremes in my school. about 38% are from local resident families, whose parents are rich and some even rich enough to own several buildings. but some of the children in such families turned out to be slow in their lessons. they seem to have everything but the motivation of learning. however, about 60% of the students are from working class families in the villages near by, whose parents hold temporary residence identities. sometimes when we visit these students at home we noticed that a large proportion of their living standards are very critical. some don’t even have desks good enough to finish their homework on. no wonder they appear quite reluctant to pay enough attention to the teachers in classes, and always find excuses not to finish their homework. and according to assessment criteria there are 40% students struggling to get a pass in the english learning. some even can not make a proper sentence before they are going to take the matriculation examinations.
i still remember once i saw my student coming to school with one arm hanging on her neck. when asked she just said she was careless when she run across a pond, fell down and broke her arm. but later i got to know that she fell from the place she sleeps on the temporary second floor at home, where half of it is a small shop in the village, while she was climbing down the ladder. at that time she was in a hurry to go to school. not until then did i realized how hard it is for some of our students to manage to survive in shenzhen, let along concentrate in learning their lessons at school. i believe if children live in poverty, they learn to fight for their future, if children live in comfort they learn to enjoy themselves.
then come the question, “how could i help them?” “what do they need most?” after some years of practicing i got to know three golden rules in english teaching in such kind of schools.
rule no.1 getting to know what exactly problems in our students’ learning english have and trying best to give them individual instructions;
rule no.2 try best to build up their confidence, let them have a taste of success. make them believe that english is not that difficult as they thought to be;
rule no.3 never trying to teach them the knowledge of english until they really mastered their own way of studying. for the most valuable knowledge is not the knowledge itself; it is the learning strategy.
rule no. 4 the most important aspect in teaching here is love we cherish during teaching. if we don’t love our students whole-heartedly we will never succeed in secondary education in shenzhen.
so from what my experience, “love” is the key to motivate our students!

Which is more important, health or wealth? It is a hot topic among people. I can hardly answer this question. There are many people who think that wealth is better than health. If you have wealth, you can also have health. You can get what you want. The life will be better and better. If you’re ill, you can find the best doctors and nurses.
I used to think so until one day my father was gone. My father died five years ago because he had cancer. That’s a terrible illness. He was only 49 years old. My father was a teacher, too. He always told me that if you did one thing, you had to do best with all of your abilities. He often worked from morning to night. However, he couldn’t be far away from the illness. His health began to deteriorate. At last of his life, he only said one sentence: “Life is too short.” Yes. Life is too short. In the short life, we all want to do best. But if we don’t have health, we can do nothing. Health is worth all the money in the world. If you have the most money but your health is poor, you will not be able to do what you want to do. Instead, take care of your body and be happy with what you do have. No matter we are rich or not, we can not ignore the importance of health.
