Traditional culture in a year includes spring festival, Lantern Festival, Dragon Boat Festival and Mid Autumn Festival. One of my favorite is the Mid Autumn Festival, because the Mid Autumn Festival can eat moon cakes, enjoy the moon, family reunion.
The Mid Autumn Festival is on the 15th of the eighth month of the lunar calendar every year. China has had the custom of appreciating the moon since ancient times. There are also many beautiful legends, such as Chang'e flying to the moon, Wu Gang cutting GUI, Yutu pounding medicine and so on. There is also the custom of eating moon cakes on the Mid Autumn Festival, because the round moon cakes symbolize reunion. Nowadays, there are many moon cakes with different tastes, some sweet and some salty. Stuffing is also very rich, there are five kernel, preserved fruit, bean paste, jujube mud, coconut, and egg yolk and so on. My favorite is preserved fruit stuffing, because it's sweet and delicious.
I like the Mid Autumn Festival. I wish all the children can have a reunion with their families.
