　　Good morning，ladies and gentlemen.

　　The cheongsam is a female dress with distinctive Chinese features and enjoys a growing popularity in the international world of high fashion.

　　The name "cheongsam," meaning simply "long dress," entered the English vocabulary from the dialect of China's Guangdong Province (Cantonese). In other parts of the country including Beijing, however, it is known as "qipao", which has a history behind it.

　　When the early Manchu rulers came to China proper, they organized certain people, mainly Manchus, into "banners" (qi) and called them "banner people" (qiren), which then became loosely the name of all Manchus. The Manchu women wore normally a one-piece dress which, likewise, came to be called "qipao" or "banner dress." Although the 1911 Revolution toppled the rule of the Qing (Manchu) Dynasty, the female dress survived the political change and, with later improvements, has become the traditional dress for Chinese women.

　　Easy to slip on and comfortable to wear, the cheongsam fits well the female Chinese figure. Its neck is high, collar closed, and its sleeves may be either short, medium or full length, depending on season and taste. The dress is buttoned on the right side, with a loose chest, a fitting waist, and slits up from the sides, all of which combine to set off the beauty of the female shape.

　　The cheongsam is not too complicated to make. Nor does it call for too much material, for there are no accessories like belts, scarves, sashes or frills to go with it.

　　Another beauty of the cheongsam is that, made of different materials and to varying lengths, they can be worn either on casual or formal occasions. In either case, it creates an impression of simple and quiet charm, elegance and neatness. No wonder it is so much liked by women not only of China but of foreign countries as well.

　　各位家长下午好，很高兴能有这样一个机会，能和大家进行面对面的交流。我是二年1、6、7、8、10班的英语任课教师，我姓赵。下面我就学生的英语学习向各位家长做一个汇报：

　　在英语课堂上，大部分学生都能很活跃的回答老师提出的问题，积极跟着老师拼读单词，朗读课文。其实这也制造了一种假象，学生认为自己常常被老师提问，认为自己能够回答老师的问题，于是认为自己的英语学得很不错，自我感觉特别好。于是下课后在英语上花的时间就相当少了。

　　其实要学好英语，课上占40%，其余的60%还需要学生在课后不断的巩固，加深记忆。在课上老师更多的是教授新知识，当然课上也会有少量的时间巩固新学的知识。但是这些时间是公共的时间，而不是每个学生私有的时间，所以不可能照顾到每个学生，不可能让所有学生都达到相同的程度。况且每个学生对新知识得接受能力都是不同的，有的可能当堂就已经有很深的印象，很难忘记，但这肯定是很少的。大部分学生都只能是初步接触了新知识，要真正接受新知识还要学生在课后多下功夫，不然肯定会和别的同学拉下差距。

　　那么在课后学生到底该怎么做才能把其余的60%补回来呢？英语毕竟不是我们自己的语言，大多数学生除了英语课其余时间根本就不会想到要说英语，所以，在课后一定要主动抽时间为自己补习英语。学好英语，不外乎就是在听，说，读，写这些方面下功夫。

　　首先说一下听，每个学生都有和书相配套的磁带，可是请各位家长检查一下自己的子女的英语磁带，有多少学生的'磁带还是和刚发的时候一样的，根本就没有听过。不要说另外买什么英语听力磁带或者英语学习的碟片了，连自己手头的磁带都不去听，光靠上课听一点点的磁带，学生的听力根本就不能有什么发展。不会听就不能说，而说白了，学了英语就是要说，如果只能听不能说，那不是白学了么？我每天叫学生回家要跟录音机读二十分钟的英语，可是有多少学生真地做到了呢？听录音机跟读，不是鹦鹉学舌，听见什么就跟着说什么。所读的知识已经学过了，跟录音机读应该是提高自己的听力和口语表达能力，要学生尽力地去模仿录音机里的发音，从而使自己的听力和口语都提高一个层次。

　　接下来是说，英语是一门语言，学了就是要说，要和别人交流。我们学的英语不应该是哑巴英语，要让每个学生学会勇敢地说出来。在课上我会用各种方法来刺激学生，激发他们说英语的积极性，大多数学生也确实做得很好。可是班级里人多，对每个人来说，说的机会就少。所以下课也要说；放学回家也要说。在学校，我鼓励学生把所学的英语对话运用到生活中去，这样有更真实的情景，更能让学生有发挥的余地。在家里，希望家长也能鼓励学生说英语，也许你会说你自己也听不懂，请不要这样想，其实学生需要是你的鼓励，你听了他们说的只要简单表扬一句，他们就会很满足了。有时候你们也可以不懂装懂，或者还可以让学生反过来教你，他们会觉得很自豪，因为自己所学得派上了用场。

　　接下来是读。有句话：“读书破万卷，下笔如有神。”学英语也是这样，很多家长也明白，学英语要培养语感，也就是语言的感觉，如果有很好的语感，那么不管是说话，做题目，还是写文章，都很轻松，很简单了。那么语感怎么来呢？就是靠读出来的。一定要让学生养成每天读英语的习惯，这是学英语的最基本的学习习惯了。我刚开始学英语的时候就是这样的，每天早上一定要读20分钟左右的英语，哪怕有时候时间来不及了，即使是迟到也要读，并且每天都坚持，绝不因任何原因间断。无论什么事情都贵在坚持嘛。如果你的子女还没有养成这样的学习习惯，请你一定要督促他，刚开始也许会比较难，时间久了，就会习惯成自然。就像早上起来要刷牙洗脸一样，要让他们把读英语当作每天必做的一件事。

　　最后是写。二年级英语已经对学生有一定的书写要求。首先是单词，单词是句子，段落，课文的最基本组成单位。背单词是学英语的必经之路。单词往往背过就容易会忘记，所以要不断的背，不断的翻新，这是没有办法的。我要求学生在背单词的时候要边拼边写，嘴巴和手都要动起来，嘴上十遍不如手上一遍。还有句型，二年级所接触的巨型都是很简单的日常用语。学生应该在课上领会句型的意思和运用方法。可后还需要通过多读课文，多练习才能巩固所学的句型。所以请各位家长不光要注重孩子背单词的情况，还要让他重视句子的重要性。

　　总而言之，请各位家长多关注孩子们的英语学习，让孩子养成良好的英语学习习惯。家长的重视会让学生增加信心，提高学生的学习积极性。与其在期末时看到大家都不愿看到的不理想的分数，还不如在平时就多关心孩子学习的过程。不是要说注重过程嘛。还希望家校携手共同提高孩子们的英语学习水平。

　　以下是我们希望家长能够配合的具体措施：

　　1.确保孩子每天至少边听录音，边跟读课文15分钟，要读出声音，最好家长在旁监督，会更有效。

　　2.每天检查孩子的回家作业是否完成，保证第二天能按时上交。

　　3.英语单词默写要家长签名（注明默写），一定要确保是默写的，而不是抄一遍交差的。

　　下午好!

　　下面我将和大家交流四个方面的内容：本期的教学内容和重点;我的教学特点;家长的配合和几点建议。

　　一、教学内容和重点

　　本学期是非常非常关键的一个时期，学生在以后的英语学习中是如鱼得水还是举步唯艰，都取决于这个学期的学习。本学期的教学内容包括26个字母，44个音标，15个

　　单元围绕一般现在时态学习15个常用句型。本期的工作重点，包括以下五方面：

　　(1)英语学习习惯：包括①课前准备的习惯。②专心听讲、认真笔记的习惯。③积极思考，大胆开口的习惯。④严守纪律、服从指挥，能放能收的习惯。⑤美观整洁的书写的习惯。⑥认真思考、仔细答题的习惯。⑦及时改错的习惯。⑧课后自觉复习、跟读、背诵的习惯。⑨实事求是，敢于质疑的习惯。⑩努力拼搏，永不言败的习惯。

　　(2)书写：整洁美观，能正确书写句子、对话和文章。

　　(3)音标：包括①能认读44个国际音标;②能根据音标拼读单词;③能根据辅音字母在单词中的读音和五个元音字母的发音规则，写出单音节词的音标;④能有意识地总结和归纳字母组合的读音规则;⑤掌握句子基本的重音和语调，能正确朗读句子;⑥具有初步的语感。

　　(4)口语：能用英语就日常生活中的常见话题进行约3到5个回合的交流。在教学上，我们首先会想方设法让学生破胆，尤其是较内向的孩子，然后在教学设计中精心准备各种练习任务，让学生有机会“练胆”，最后通过备课组组织的各类英语活动“试胆”，相信在本期的圣诞晚会上能让家长充分领略我们学校学生流利说的英语的能力和风采。

　　(5)分层次教学：这是我们英语教学的难点。来自各个地方、各个学校的不同家庭的孩子，英语学习的起始水平差异性很大，我们的教学是按照零起点来设计的，因此没有学过英语或小学英语是玩过来的学生家长完全不用担心，只要配合老师认真监督孩子完成老师布置的各项学习任务，不用补课，一样学好。而我们的优生有三重保障：一是我们的《走遍美国》能为你们提供原滋原味的美语和视听环境，二是我们的《真实趣味读物》能为你补充初一单薄的语言，三是我们的《三点一测》能为你考试获得高分提供适中的拔高学习和训练。另外我们备课组还会为你们选择适中的阅读背诵材料，增大你们的语言输入。

　　二、教学特点

　　我用五个字来概括我的教学特点：严、实、新、快、放。

　　严：在教学常规要求和学习任务完成上，我的要求非常严格。比如坐姿、作业、改错、资料清理等。

　　在对学生的.评价上，非常客观严格。自己和自己比，不断进步的孩子最让我开心。

　　实：教学中实事求是，遵循教学规律，以学定教，不搞花架子;关注过程，扎实走好每一小步;与学生家

　　长交流，真诚以待，虚心听取意见，决不记仇。

　　新：富有创新精神，能不断学习进取，对教育理论和各种教材都有一定涉猎，因此在对教材的驾驭上比较

　　得心应手，也敢于大胆进行教学改革和探索。

　　快：决不挤占课外的任何时间的教学原则，使得我的课堂教学容量大，节奏紧凑，学生不敢开小差;

　　放：注重培养学生的自主管理和学习能力，牢记教的目的就是为了不教，敢于在教学中放手，设计各种学习任务让学生去尝试进行自主管理和学习。但另一方面我严格检查。

　　三要感谢学生。在我们班，有很大一批学生上进心强，勤奋好学，不服输，不怕输，正视自己的底子薄弱，抓时间少玩耍，积极努力学习。这就是我们班女生优异的表现，如廖海燕、黄云、陈科言、郭茜、刘雪玲、孟丹、陈茜等。所以，我作为班主任，看到她们在女生群体营造了良好的学风学气，让更多的人得到了实惠，说声感谢!可是我们的男生，只知道打篮球，混日子，其内心世界还是那么幼稚，可悲啊。少数男生知道自己曾经的不足，埋头苦学，因为他们是老师家长心中的骄子，如赵志祥、熊瑞、郭雨、衡杨、姜涛、赵东南等，行为习惯较好，知道自己是初三的学生，平时严格要求自己，做得很不错。感谢他们为了心中的梦想而发奋苦学，感谢他们理解家长的期望生活中处处体现为人子女的善良，感谢他们尊重老师认真听讲好好学习全面展现学生形象的真诚。

　　三、家长配合

　　孩子有5天在校，2天在家，还有两个假期，在校一切交给我ok，但一回到家，教育监督责任的接力棒就交到家长手中了。在此我要详细讲讲需要家长配合的地方。

　　1、做好孩子的心理准备工作。初一内容较简单，对于小学学过英语的孩子来说似乎没有学头，但由于小学和初中的教学目的、教学内容、教学要求不一样，我们在对教材的处理和理解上也有很大不同，加上我校对学生的要求比其他学校要高，因此在教学的深度和广度上都不一样了，因此孩子很容易由于“轻敌”而逐渐掉队，因此需要家长配合老师做好思想教育工作，让孩子能以空杯的心态来学习。

　　2、做好后勤保障：笔、胶棒、本子、资料夹、字典、复读机、磁带

　　3、和孩子一起学习英语的学法指导，帮助孩子了解英语学习的科学方法。由于我校学生绝大部分是数学特优生，这些孩子最怕死记硬背，但英语就是一个“死去活来”的学科，没有

　　坚实的字词句基础，就没有灵活运用语言的综合能力。当然“死”有“死”的科学性，记忆力的训练同身体锻炼是一样的，只要不断进行科学的训练就能不断提高。越不背越难背。英语学习不能只靠理解和做题(例子)

　　4、周末作业：周都有作业内容及要求的详细说明，请家长监督孩子先制定好完成作业的计划：时间起止点，并逐项检查并在作业要求后逐项签字。

　　我们周末的作业一般有以下几个内容：

　　朗读：每天15分钟，共两天。跟磁带大声、清晰地读，逐句跟读三遍，最后连起来快速读三遍背一遍。

　　抄写：本期有一些抄写作业，注意书写和格式。

　　听写、默写：请严格监督

　　录制磁带：(我检查)

　　周记：内容包括1分钟赞美;1分钟反思;1分钟改进;字典摘抄;英语摘抄;日记。格式自己设计

　　四、几点建议

　　1、希望家长与老师的教育能保持一致，这是决定学生能否顺利健康发展的关键因素。我看到大多数发展良好，成绩优异的学生，除了优质的学校教育的因素以外，他们一般都拥有一个健康、和谐、积极向上的家庭教育的氛围，而且做到了学校教育和家庭教育的理念一致，密切配合。如何保持一致呢?首先要严要狠的下心。我们学校的老师管得一般都比较严，以往出现过5+2=0的情况，什么意思呢?就是老师在学校用各种方法规范学生，可一到周末回家，又打回原形，也不自主了，也不独立了，也不文明了，作业也不认真做了，甚至不做还撒谎，家长还帮着撒谎等，还有学生整天挂在网上，成绩直线下降，家长还不知原因。还有现在都是独生子女，家庭条件有好，一周不见，一回家心疼得不得了，。更有甚者，回家叫苦，我在学校可受罪啦，受不了啦，其实他在学校可能比谁都玩得开心。我经常跟学生说，选择了七中育才学校，你就选择了竞争和拼搏!大家应该相信，别人的孩子能适应，我的孩子也能适应。而且我们学校严格的作息安排，孩子在这里生活得很规律、很好。

　　2、眼光要远。我校的孩子，都非常优秀，他们将是未来的栋梁，可是分数并不能造就人才。什么是人才?他不仅有学识，还要有教养，还要会与人交流，能适应环境，能自己克服学习生活中的困难，有一个健康的心灵，更有一个开阔的眼界。因此，对这些孩子，不能只看成绩，要看他的综合素质有没有提高。我非常欣赏北京四中李俊如老师的观点，老师要教学生境界教学生眼光。我想家长也有责任将这两样重要的东西教给学生。我常常给家长建议周末和假期一定要让孩子多看课外书，少去补课。多出去游历游历，少做几本习题。另外横向比较，我们的孩子和发达地区的名校的孩子还是有一定的差距，如何提高自身的实力，也是我们需要未雨绸缪的一件事。

　　3、要多沟通。

　　首先是和孩子沟通。这样一来，不仅可以及时了解孩子，还能给老师及时提供信息，方便我们开展工作。上一届我班有些家长就配合得很好，有时侯学生挨了批评，心里有想法，有抵触情绪，家长就悄悄给我打电话，我呢，就找机会化解了。

　　多沟通还要多给老师沟通。家长一般都很忙，不能来学校也没关系，可以每周或每两周同科任老师通通电话，了解情况，尤其孩子不自觉或学习情况不理想时，更需要共同监督。(例子上一届十三班有名同学这位同学最后英语考到了中上成绩，是家长的关心和付出使他没有掉队。)可是也有家长，孩子在我们学校读了三年书，连在哪个班都不知道，是不是也太离谱了?

　　4、家长和孩子要有“自知之明”。我想说的是我们要知道孩子的长处和短处，要了解他的能力极限在哪里。有两种家长让我们老师，也让孩子很头痛。一是把孩子逼得太狠，让孩子倍感压力。有个家长女儿年级前50名还很不满意，搞得女儿一考试就紧张;另一种是放任自流，本来孩子潜力很大，很有可塑性，老师不断帮助他前进，可是家长却在一边说可以了，可以了，这样就很棒了。结果是孩子不进反退。每个人都有自己的长处和短处，但每个学生都应该养成全力以赴，做到最好的心理习惯。我评价孩子，就看他是否尽到了努力，只要他做到最好，我认为他就是最棒的。所以我教育学生有个规矩，学习状态和效果都很好的学生，我从不找他们麻烦，也不给他们更多的压力;反之，如果学习态度和效果都不好，那就是严管的对象。就因为如此，有些学生认为我和蔼可亲，而有些却会对家长说我很麻辣。当孩子跟您说我很麻辣的时候，就需要你跟我联系了，因为这意味着您的小孩学习出状况了。

　　5、少表扬，多鼓励;少批评，多指导。

　　最后，为了更好的了解并教育你的孩子，请家长就孩子的个性、兴趣爱好等跟我及时交流。如果你的孩子内向啊，脾气怪呀，叛逆啊等需要我给予特别关照的，务必通过电话或短信尽快告知，以避免出现教育失误。

The young should show our Chinese culture and good manners to the world .I t is easy to say than to do，most of us didn't pay enough attention to “seven don'ts” sometimes they throw rubbish everywhere，cross the road when the light is red .Although they know these behavirous are not good，they still do it .I hope everyone of us can take part in this social practice .We should carry ourselves well，respect our teachers and so on，try to show our best manners to the world .
