　　How do you do!

　　Everyone has a lot of dreams. Some people want to be rich, dreaming ofbeing millionaires overnight. Others want to be famous, dreaming of suddenlyjumping to great fame. I have a lot of dreams,too. When I was a young girl,Idreamed of being a scientist like Hua Imogen in future. However, I knew verywell that I could not succeed without painstaking efforts. So I studied hard inthe middle school and college in order to attain my goal.

　　After graduating from,college.I found a job as a ough I wasvery busy with teaching,I never gave up my goal. I read a lot of books to getmore knowledge. I made experiments to practise and apply what I had learnt fromthe books. Sometimes,I was so deeply indulged in my research that I forgot mymeals and time. Now I have made great progress. Several of my research papershave been published. The methods proposed in my papers have been proven to bevaluable for the solution of some problems. I am very ladder of beinga scientist is still far ahead,but I have climbed the first rung anyway.

　　How do you do!

　　I'm very honored to stand here and give you a short speech！ To begin with,I want to ask a question everybody dream a good dream last night？Actually ,today I want to talk about dream with you. Of course, What I want totalk is not a dream you have last night,but a dream—— about life.

　　Everyone has dreams about life, different dreams at different lifestage,and we need dreams to support us. Dreams are like the stars we never reachin the sky,but like most mariners,we can chart our course by them. With thedream,we have a direction,with a direction, we were no longer thedream, there is hope,With hope, we have the strength to fight.

　　I have a dream： To be a doctor.,because doctor may relieve the pain ofpatients. May let the human change the health. At the same time, I believedthat, those who help others may be able to obtain joyfully. Therefore, I hopedin the near future ,I might be a doctor.

　　But I know,life is tough,and there are always ups and downs, maybe we failin the way to our aims,and we may feel depressed ,whenever at this time, thedream in our heart can always comfort us, encourage us ,and support us to moveahead.

　　Young！Fortunately, I am young now. Just due to it, I know that nothing isimpossible.I firmly believe that nothing can stand in my way. If I can't realizemy dream,it result from that I haven't work harder enough and I won't find otherexcuses. If no people believe you, you can make it to prove that you are you think the god haven't blessed you and there is no truth here, you canbecome the god and create the truth.

　　“My breath swallows the sky and make the yellow river overflow, my sword isfamous in Kyushu and it can collapse the five sacred mountains.” At some time inthe past I also had am bitious words and I had some achievements. Eachachievement results from my hard work. I always believe that “If you want tohave more achievements than others, you must work harder.” In some extent, thedream is the hope. If you can insist on doing something, the victory willcome.

　　Hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die, life is a broken'winged bird thatcannot fly. Hold fast to dreams, for when dreams go, life is a barren fieldfrozen with snow. So my dear friends, think of your old and maybe dead ever it is, pick it up and make it alive from today. Let's" move"out！

　　How do you do!

　　Someone said “we are reading the first verse of the first chapter of a book whose pages are infinite”. I don’t know who wrote these words but I’ve always liked them as a reminder that the future can be anything we want it to be. We are all in the position of the farmers. If we plant a good seed we reap a good harvest. If we plant nothing at all we harvest nothing at all.

　　We are young. “How to spend the youth？” It is a meaningful question. To answer it first I have to ask “what do you understand by the word youth？” Youth is not a time of life it’s a state of mind. It’s not a matter of rosy cheeks red lips or supple knees. It’s the matter of the will. It’s the freshness of the deep spring of life.

It is held in ourselves.

　　We all want the future to be better than the past. But the future can go better itself. Don’t cry because it is over smile because it happened. From the past we’ve learnt that the life is tough but we are tougher. We’ve learnt that we can’t choose how we feel but we can choose what about it. Failure doesn’t mean you don’t have it it does mean you should do it in a different way. Failure doesn’t mean you should give up it does mean you must try harder.

　　As what I said at the beginning “we are reading the first verse of the first chapter of a book whose pages are infinite”. The past has gone. Nothing we do will change it. But the future is in front of us. Believe that what we give to the world the world will give to us. And from today on let’s be the owners of ourselves and speak out “We are the world we are the future.”

　　“Modern and advanced”This society forgets, and ignores the other two thirdsof human beings. It's far from the ideal！ We call ideal as a utopian, a placewhere reality does not exist. A few people still look forward to the ideals. Wemake fun of them, considering they are naive. Will we still be content to livein such a society, if misfortune drops to us？ No！ Of cause not！

　　When we feel the warmth of the sun, these people, endure great sorrows andpains. Can we imagine that？ They are our brother and sisters！

　　Facing them, will we still complain about our own misfortune？

　　Facing them, will we still have the mood shouting for our own freedom？Facing them, will we still want to have more and more unnecessary stuff？

　　ladies and gentlemen, i’m very glad to make a speech here. today my topic is “i love you, china.”

　　since the day i was born, i began to have a proud name—chinese. since the day i began to talk, the most beautiful sentence i’ve ever learnt has been “i love you, china！”

　　i love you, china, and i’m so proud of being a chinese. i’m proud that i’ve got the beautiful yellow skin, black eyes and black hair. i’m also proud that i speak the most beautiful language in the world—chinese.

　　i love you, china, for i can feel the deep love you give me every day, every minute. last year, i got an opportunity to visit the united states of america. during my staying there, my father’s boss once invited my family to dinner. while at table, he looked at me and asked： “little boy, how long have you been in america？” “about a month,” i answered, “how lucky you are！” he said, “if you were living in china, how could you learn such perfect english？” i smiled and told him proudly that all the students in china are able to learn english at school. i saw his surprised eyes and said to myself, “i’m proud of you, china. for you are offering us the best education.”

　　when i came back from the usa, my friends asked me： “how do you feel about your staying there？” “wonderful” i said. “then why do you come back？” hearing this, i told them there were lots of beautiful countries in the world, but none of them can compare with our own country—china. how true the saying is： “there’s no place like home！”

　　i love you, china. as a young student, all we should do is to study hard and devote ourselves whole—heartedly in the future, to the great cause of building you into an even stronger and greater country in the world. i love you, my dear motherland！ i love you, china！ thank you for your listening ！
